Matt Keen opened the whole show tonight and was incredible. Despite guitar issues early on, Matt continued on a borrowed axe and played an incredible set. Over at the merchandise tent, there was a bevvy of young ladies waiting, quite impatiently, for him to come sign autographs. His performance warranted every bit of the attention. Later, as we reconciled the sales for Blues Traveler's merchandise tonight, their road manager of 18 years was quite impressed with the music sales. What that means, is that our underestimated little town is full of true music fans. There were twelve orders for cd copies of a live recording from tonight, which is more than double the typical order.
It was a very nice night and another great reminder of why Sandpoint is the greatest place on earth.
