Just a few sprinkles of rain so far... Accuweather is showing just touches of green in Bonner county, none of which appear to hit Sandpoint. Their prediction for the rest of the night is rain around 9 pm, which would be right in the middle of Donovan (shades of 2008!), so make sure to bring your umbrellas. I've got to tell ya, a rainy music night (as long as there's no lightning) makes for a great time on the Festival field!
I'll be heading down in 45 minutes or so to get pictures of our backstage hospitality crew, the group that keeps "the stars" fed and happy while they're here. They're a big part of the reason why groups are so willing to be booked into a venue as small as ours --- they know they're going to get first-class treatment!
So next post from the field... and let's hope our weather genie is keeping the storms away from the music one more time this season.
